Jayne Miller, Psy.D.

I enjoy working with adolescents and adults presenting with concerns around relationships and attachment, self-esteem, life transitions, and identity. Although I work primarily from a psychodynamic perspective, I incorporate Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) and Dialectical-Behavioral (DBT) therapeutic techniques when clinically appropriate.

Whether it be with individuals, couples, groups, or families, I strive to facilitate a deepening of the relationship with self and other.

Additionally, I offer consultations, presentations and workshops geared toward integrating physical and emotional health and wellness practices. Please inquire if interested to learn more.

Rachel Hajjar, L.C.S.W.

As your therapist, I want to ensure you feel comfortable, supported, and heard. One key component to successful treatment is a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship. Together, we will explore how your life experiences drive your current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By gaining insight and awareness into yourself in a non-judgmental environment, we can identify what changes you hope to make in your life.

I have extensive experience with children and families who have experienced trauma. Therapeutically, I utilize a psychodynamic and strengths-based approach to assist you in facilitating positive change in your life. My goal is to help you feel empowered to reach your full potential, while learning how to successfully navigate life’s challenges.

Sasha Levitskaya, L.C.S.W.

If you are looking for a non-judgmental space to examine barriers preventing you from leading a fulfilling and authentic life, I would love to work with you.

With over a decade of experience in the field, I specialize in working with adults who struggle with trauma, immigration identity, and feelings of abandonment. I also offer support through depression, anxiety, questions or issues around sexuality, and life transitions. My approach is foundationally psychodynamic and trauma-informed. Together we will work to create change through development of curiosity, self-reflection, and self-compassion.

Ali Hittman, L.C.S.W.

Whether it be the dissolution of a marriage, the birth of a child, or a difficult interpersonal relationship, together we will work to understand your subjective experience of these major life transitions and dynamics. Through exploration and definition of your personal values and goals, we can examine ways in which we can keep these stressful, anxiety-inducing issues from becoming ongoing obstacles in your life.

I incorporate both CBT and psychoanalytic perspectives to the treatment, depending on your needs.

Phoebe Richman, L.C.S.W.

My goal as your therapist is to co-create a space where you can be comfortable experiencing a full range of emotions. I want to support you in expanding your view and exploring new narratives about yourself, your relationships, and your history. Together we will work to buoy the compassion you have for yourself as you recognize and shift patterns that no longer serve you.

Drawing on foundations of psychoanalysis, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-based CBT, I will tailor the treatment to your needs. I strive to create a sex-positive, affirming space for people of all genders and sexual identities and approach the work from a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lens.

What to Expect

When you reach out, we will initially schedule a brief phone consultation. This allows for us to touch base around your presenting concerns and scheduling needs. Should we align on those fronts, we will set up an initial meeting.

In our first few sessions together, I will get to know you and your reasons for entering therapy. Therapy is like dating—it is essential to find a therapist with whom you click. We will mutually determine if your goals in therapy align with my specialties. Should we determine that your wants and needs are outside my scope of practice, I will refer you to one of my colleagues whom I believe will be able to best help you.

I believe therapy is most effective when conducted on a weekly or twice weekly basis. We will determine the frequency of our meetings, as well as a regular meeting time. Should your schedule keep you from establishing a consistent meeting time, I will do my best to work with you.

The amount of time that you are in therapy can vary. You may see immediate results, but often more long-lasting changes are observed over the course of a number of years.
